It actually allows you to think for yourself, encourages exploration and challenges you at every turn. All you have is your brain and controller and if you died and forgot to save, it's your own damn fault.
Games are too easy these days.
P.S: I took some liberties on the design.
Would it be alright if I used this picture as a background picture for one of 10 songs featured in an upcoming video of mine on YouTube, called So Cold 10 Metroid Remixes Video III? I will definitely make sure to credit you for your work. And, if you want to look me up on YouTube before the video is finished, search "Jac0Frost0" and "s0c01da116utz31dav1d" on YouTube.
Oh. P.S.: I'll send you a link when I'm done.
Also, Epic Lightning Strike needs to be a thing with her. Period.
I remember, distinctly, walking past a display stand in Best Buy in a city near where I live and seeing Super Metroid on sale. I wanted it so badly, but my parents don't believe in video games so I had to buy everything myself...Let's just say, at the time I did not have the means to afford a SNES =/ Which was sad, because I played the hell out of Metroid and Metroid II...As well as every Zelda I could get my hands on. If I might suggest something? You've played Super Metroid...if you've not had the opportunity to try another classic, I strongly suggest you check out The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past.
...It's weird, because stuff like this makes me feel really old, but I'm only in my 20s T.T Am I allowed to miss childhood yet?
Probably not. But I kind of do anyway!
What I like most about this game is how exploitable it is. There are so many ways to cut corners are do speed runs and low percent runs to your heart's desire!
PS: Welcome to the fandom. Hope you enjoy your stay.
